Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Hi Stampin' Blog Friends!  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from my craft room to yours!   I pray you have a wonderful time with family, friends, and loved ones!  I know that it has been a while since my last post... my work and personal life has been super busy...and that is actually a good thing. I am thankful for my work and my family.  Thanks for your prayers and nice emails during this time and thanks for continuing to stop by my little piece of Blogland.  I have BIG plans for 2012- from giveaways, to video tutorials and more blog guests- so be sure to keep checking in!  I hope you like the card.  I used this week's Mojo Monday sketch!  Enjoy!

Macho Monday 4: Just for You

 
It's Macho Monday #4 Friends!!  I was inspired to create this card by my mom who had the most amazing, masculine, car stamp!  She let me borrow it last weekend.  This creation took no time....literally, about 10 minutes from start to finish!!  It was just so easy to create and it is within my comfort zone...vintage!  I made a trip to my local scrapbooking store to find this stamp for myself.  My mom is generous, but I don't believe she will give hers up!  Lol!  Check it out:

 
I think any guy, regardless of age would enjoy this card.  I left the sentiment simple so that it can be used for any occasion.  My favorite element is actually the fact that the layers are helter skelter.  It reminds me of how tools are in a toolbox...all kinda thrown in there!  I sponged the edges with Basic Black ink and it reminds me of how my Daddy's hands were greasy when he came inside from working on a car when I was little.  It screams MACHO to me!!  Lol!! I know that I can create many other cards with this one stamp, all with a different feel.  What do you think??  Supplies: Stamps- #306-91406 by Inkadinkado, Stampin' Up! Showcase Saturdays: Guest Stamper- Debbie Smith

 
Hi Friends!  I must say that I have been receiving some wonderful projects from my crafty friends from all over via email!  I thought a cute way to share the fun was to have "Showcase Saturdays!" If you email pictures or snail mail me projects, I would love to feature them here on Crafty Chronicles!!  I love to see your artwork!  I am inspired always by everything around me and especially work from my friends!  Who knows, I may even have to CASE some of your projects!!  This week, the lovely Ms. Debbie Smith of Newport, Michigan shared some fun favors!!  She was also one of the winners of my 7 Day Giveaway!

I think Ms. Debbie knows how to party!!!  I am LOVING the party favors!!  And she featured projects using her Big Shot.  You can't go wrong with the Big Shot!!  These are so festive and fun!  I think I may have to try out some Milk Cartons for Valentine's Day like she has.  I'm going to have to ask her to email me directions on how to make the cute tree too!  Ms. Debbie from Newport, Michigan thanks so much for your lovely emails and kind words!  I appreciate them!  Also, thanks for jumping in head first and sharing some of your projects!  You are a wonderful stamper!!  If you'd like to be featured on Crafty Chronicles for Showcase Saturday, it's easy to do...Send me some projects and I'll feature you!!  [Hey, that rhymed! lol!
